Where to purchase kuhli's?

Post by James0816 »

Hello, new here. My favorite loaches are the Hillstream and Banded Kuhli's. I can usually find the Hillstreams online for a good price of course but I cannot seem to find any banded khuli's. The LFSs around here occasionally get the black or golds in but that pretty much it. Can anyone recommend an online source?

Thx

I assume you are planning different setups for these, right? Hillstreams like cool fast-flowing water with algae-covered boulders etc, while kuhlis like slow water with lots of plants and a softish substrate. Can't help you with the source, I'm afraid, unless you can get an LFS to order them in. They shouldn't be that hard to get hold of.

My understanding is that many LFS have stopped ordering them because of the high mortality during shipping. Every once in a great while I find some in the NY Tri-State area.
