hi emma
sadly my last loach didnt make it also 3 pairs of endlers .
so i have learned that after 4 days of using meth blue it didnt have much affect on the bug in my tank.
this is sad that i could not save these fish but i also lost 12 baby fry but i still have a few left i hope they can tollerate the high temp and treatment to get rid of this bug.
everyone has been very helpful with my problems with my fish .
emma i have posted you and steve something today as agreed with steve.
i surpose i should leave the forum now that i dont have sid and marty .
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP.

Sorry to hear that Sue.
Please don't loose heart with fishkeeping though, once you get things sorted it will bring you so much pleasure. You are more than welcome to stick around here, don't forget we have a general freshwater forum and an off topic forum here too, so even if you don't have loaches at the moment, you can still be a part of LOL.
Thank you for sending us something for the treatment, and at least you will have something on hand that works now.
Have a read of this article on keeping Botia as once you have got rid of the whitespot and the tank has been settled for a while, there are some smaller species that would be suited to your tank size: http://www.loaches.com/articles/an-intr ... ping-botia which have just as much personality as clown loaches.
Best wishes,
Emma
