beautiful mate just beautiful.
one of our show boys had quite a few but only for showing, very similar looking to yours, but his were at maximum size.
i've still got a pic somewhere that has the very best sidthimunki i've ever seen another show fish, only i can't remember the guy's name who used to show it.
i'm sure the guys first name was Andy. Andy rush will say it if he sees this.
hey bud missed the other fish in the pics, is that a guntheri at the bottom of pic 2 and a nice pentazona mate.
and whats the loach in pic 3 is that another guntheri?.
mick
ps, you can't sneak other fish in without at least a mention.
Mark, the showman with the sid was Andy feast, you might remember his name from when you were a bit younger.
Andy rush has a pic of his fish, if i can get my hands on it, i can put it up on LOL.
The name doesn't ring a bell Mick, I did have a sid that was over 2" some years back and a friend Denise Wilson had one that was a touch smaller but slightly deeper bodied and we won quite a few shows between us with our sid's, my first ever best in show was with this sid and I also won the NEFAS supreme champion with it.
It shared a 4' tank with a pair of severums 2x 6" Tiger botias and 4x 6" Brycinus imberi and it used to make their lives hell, it was one feisty little loach
i was on the bell to Andy before mate and we both remembered a sid we saw at Chester Zoo, i could'nt believe my eye's bud there was a female in the display tank and she had to be 3 inches long SL.
and i'm not pulling your leg mate.
and it was a definite sid.
Hope to be giving mine a tank for themselves so they can
spawn some young.
I already spot a lot of pre spawning behaviour amongst them.
With all these other fish the eggs will never get a chance.
Any tankmates you can sugest to keep em active and happy ?
As they tend to get really reclusive if they,re the sole tank inhabitants.
