Weather loaches with goldfish?

I just brought home some weather loaches.
Can they be mixed with goldfish?
how about guppies? can i mix them with guppies or will they eat guppy fry?

I had my big 8" female weather loach live for about a year happily with goldfish in a tank! (When she was young)

I have her with some small acanthocobitis (1.5") and some small panther danios (1") at the moment. They should mix with guppies fine. Though i do think they would eat the fry unfortunatly.

Do make sure you have a large enough tank though - they can grow past 10". 12" isn't unheard of.

I keep mine with goldies - I haven't seen any issues.
I agree they would eat guppy fry given the chance.

I had a weather loach years and years ago that was known to eat full grown guppies if they happened to swim past his mouth. I was surprised when I saw it happen. However, that was a very rare occurrence.

thanks. my loaches are currently with my goldfish in a 4 foot tank, they seem to be doing well
