Dear Hobbyists interested in Barbs, Characins, Loaches, and Catfish,

with the dissolution of the VDA-Arbeitskreis BSSW (German working group on Barbs, Characins, Loaches, and Catfish) at the end of 2008, the former leader- and memberships are enthusiastic to establish an international society to take its place: the "International Society on the study of Barbs, Catfish, Characins, and Loaches" (Internationale Gemeinschaft BSSW; IG-BSSW).

The inaugural meeting is scheduled for November 8, 2008, 10 am near Hannover, Germany:

IG BSSW

Hello,

fortunately, in the times today with internet and e-mail I think it's fantastic, that we can communicate wilth almost all interested people in the world.

So the german loach group in the IG BSSW can exchange with loaches-online and lol-forum, so both will have a benefit of.

the foundation was very successfull: More than 80 (eighthy!) aquarists came to this event!
