I hunt for this genus everywhere i go, i have A molobrion for sure but this fish is different in pattern to them, so anyone with loads of books could you please spend a bit of time to find what species this is or is it just a well patterned molobrion.
here's a few pics of it.
According to Kottelat A. molobrion is differentiated from A. robertsi by not having a posteriorly pointed V shaped bar in the caudal, and yours doesnt have this either. It doesnt look like a A. delphax, A. gracilentus, A. gracilis, A. hapalias, or A. namromensis.
Therefore I would go for A. molobrion, although they are all quite similar!
Lord Foul The Despiser, Lord of the Flies, Lucifer, Beelzebub, Mephistopheles, Satan, Iblis, Samael, The Dark Lord, The Abhorred, Azazel, Anubis, Pluto, Hades, etc
I have some new tiny Acantopsis type loaches to ID. Graeme saw them when he last visited, but they had only been in for 3 days then. Unfortunately, they came in very skinny so we are working on getting a bit of weight on them. Will put up some pics soon. I think they look similar to yours, Mick, but from some very crap pictures I took on arrival, they have far less dorsal fin rays.
