Around the same size Mick, something like 4.5 to 5 inches SL. I have a couple of males which are around 5.5 to 6 inches SL. As soon as they start reaching the 6 inch mark we know they are looking big buggers. Hey Mick do you remember that amazing huge specimen that Neil had in? That was one hell of a fish!!

What struck me about the one at Pier Aquatics was that it was fully spotted ! BUT looking at these two females I notice the spots seem to be around the caudal area too, perhaps the spots will eventually cover the whole body ?
Though there are fully spotted Berdmorhae , I've got four ! they are different to Mick and Graeme's type !
The one at Pier was about 8 inches NICE!

Yeah, what struck me the most about it was the pure size with added girth of the body, stunning! I think it looked like a Syncrossus berdmorei with the spots being on the large side compared with the Syncrossus beauforti having smaller peppered spots on them. Anyways, i sure of hell would of liked to of took that specimen home with me.
Go point Andy, perhaps the Syncrossus berdmorei do get covered with the spots once they get over the 7 inch mark.
