Does anyone know if a dojo loach can live in backish water?

Hi JawsA10, and welcome to Loaches Online.

Dojo's (or Weather loaches as they are also known) are a freshwater species, and should not be kept in brackish conditions. Although they may be considered to be slightly hardier than other loach species, they certainly won't appreciate any salt in their water.

They also prefer the temperature of their tank water to be slightly lower than usual, as they are a sub-tropical species.

Are you looking for bottom feeders for your brackish tank?

Amano shrimp are absolutely excellent you know- and they actually do better in brackish water, growing slightly larger, and they have been known to spawn in captivity in brackish water as well.
