$50 seems a bit steep. The only place I have seen with prices as high as that (relatively speaking) is Petland - their mark-up seems rather ridiculous at times. Having said that, 3-4 inches is much larger than they are normally sold at (I have seen them at 1-2 inches), so from that perspective it may not be too bad at all.
Why does my aquarium always seem too small?

Kinda late but the petland discounts near me in the bronx ny just got some good size Kubotai for 12 bucks each. About 4 inches , could use some good feedings and a better home than they provide.
