need help to id loach

need help to id loach
I went to the lfs and picked up these two loaches, can somebody please help me id them.

it looks like it's one of these two species cornbread, Nemacheilus masyai or pallidus.
i'm leaning towards masyai as i think in one pic it looks like the top lobe of the tail is longer which would indicate it was a male.
any chance of a clearer pic just to be sure.
