At the convention. He was spouting all sorts of utter crap about fishkeeping, and wouldn't leave us alone!! Probably late 20's.

I have the photographic evidence to prove it! He got strangled twice in one night! I even assumed his identity for a while, although not entirely sure how that came about.

mick
No I didn't bother with the caudimac's, a couple looked like their tails were dropping and Neil said they seemed sensitive.

I got an email from Kamphol last night:
Hi Mark,

It was certainly a pleasure to meet and present to a group of the most sophisticated loach enthusiasts in the world. Sorry we did not have more time to chat the Saturday night as I had to prepare for my Sunday catfish talk. There will be more time in the future.

We did see some small lepidocephalichthys species but to be honest the thing that stood out the most was the black dots inside the fish which are a parasite, they all seemed to have at least one or two but there were a couple that were riddled with them.

As to an ID I cant remember, the tiredness was starting to hit me in there and to be honest I cant remember much from BAS.

awww you poor sod, haha
when i was into my SA phase quite a lot of fish came in with black dots in them but i found they never matured and did any damage to the fish.
in all my years i can only remember one fatality through unknown infestation and that was a Corydoras longipinnis, the fish was dissected and had around 10 what looked like cream coloured leeches in it.

Yeah Emma said that she had some ram's come in with it and it doesn't do any damage to the fish just birds etc that eat them, but those loaches were pretty small and with them been quite see through what was there stood out a lot.
