R.I.P. Basil, Sybil, Major et al

Post by bob d »

I know I don't participate much nowadays (I don't feel I have much to contribute) but for those who remember them I'm sad to say I lost all my clowns, yoyos and robustas over Easter. I went away for 3 days and came back to devastation - the big tank so cloudy I couldn't see through it, a terrible smell through the house, and all the fish (except, remarkably a lone Kuhli) dead. I am absolutely gutted and we can't see what caused it at this stage.
I've looked after those guys for over 10 years and can't imagine life without them. I'll start again but if I didn't have the other tanks I would seriously contemplate giving it all up.
Sorry to be the bearer of such bad news. I know Basil was a favourite of some of you.

We shared the same emotion Jim.

Oh Bob, this is terrible news. You must be devastated. You didn't just lose fish, you lost icons.

Martin.
