pvc pipe
I have a couple of loaches and I decided to put pvc pipes in my aquarium they wont even touch it though, not even come near it. I think I should turn it in to something to make it blend in, or seem natural, but I dont know what to use and why they wont come near it.

To camouflage PVC pipe you can coat it with silicone (messy!) and stick gravel or sand to it.
You can paint it with Krylon Fushion spray paint.
You can partially bury it in the substrate.
If they are not using it, you could remove it.
Or put it somewhere else in the tank. Perhaps they do not like it where it is.
Do they have hiding places now? What are these hiding places made of, and where in the tank?

38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.
Happy fish keeping!

I have a large piece of pvc waste pipe in one of my tanks, I have placed a large piece of flat bogwood in front of it to cover it up which has added extra nooks & crannies for the smaller guys. It is partially buried in the sand (probably 1" of sand covering the bottom of it) which maybe helps it feel more natural to the fish.
250 Gallon, 8 Modesta, 2 Plec, 2 Catfish & a shoal of 17 Clown loach.
