In general, clownies are not aggressive towards other fish.

However, as with any other animal, there is a LOT of individual variation. Further, the more crowded/stressful the tank is, the more likely they are to lash out.

How large is your tank? What are your water parameters? Is the tank planted? How many hiding places are there?

Welcome to the forum. . . from as far away as you can possibly get. (Alaska, USA)

Hi boets1, welcome to Loaches Online. :D

Can you tell us a bit more about your tank and also what you are feeding your fish on. Are you providing the clowns with their own sinking foods? How big are the clowns and silver dollars?

Loaches are well armed and entirely capable of attacking and injuring other fish. Generally most species are not so pushy, though.
Have you tried feeding 2 types of food at one time? Try a sinking food to keep the Loaches interested in eating off the bottom, and a floating food to keep the Silver Dollars up higher in the tank.
I would add some fresh or lightly cooked vegetables to your food rotation.
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Happy fish keeping!
