There are Pellets specifically for loaches and other bottom feeders. I also will feed live brine shrimp from my LFS every now and then.

I will also vary their diet with algea pellets and other types of food. I've also heard of people feeding shrimp and veggies (cucumber, etc).

+1 on Hikari sinking wafers
I was very impressed with it, I actually bought a few pounds of that stuff.
I keep them in the fridge and only take out just enough for the daily feeding.[/u]

My yoyo likes goldfish flakes, bloodworms, banana, cucumber, and I have recently hatched out brine shrimp and cant wait to watch them eat them.

change of diet

I usually just feed them flakes but maybe that gets boring even for a fish so I am going to try out some of your suggestions..cheers

Mine love bloodworms, but I try to vary it: Shrimp pellets or the Hikari sinking wafers, frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp with spirulina, mysis shrimp, flakes. There's probably a few others I'm missing but there are some ideas.
