It's amazing how confident they have become. I remember how tricky it is to photograph loaches that are feeding on one hand whilst taking the pic with the other - I did that with a Homaloptera confuzona a while back. Anyways, you know where to come if you want any more Y. brevis's.

Yeah, they are still skittish when the lights are on. It's when i feed them at 'bedtime' and the lights are out. They seem to become more confident and of course smell/sense the fresh food in the waters.

Fortunately/unfortunately......i do know where to go.........

I only left with 9 loaches this time. Last time it was around 50 i think.

Yeah there's not much room at this Inn, but i can sure slip in a few spacial guests if needed.

I have been planing a 'aggressive' tank for a while now, Jim. But those pictures where sure a clincher and switched my decision on which to take home.

I'm keeping these 'Brutius Loachiatuis' in a 5ft x 2ft x 2ft tank. I'm trying to accommodate there own territory's with good old 'wood n plants' and with selective numbers of species to suite.

Im just wondering how they get along. Is there a lot of fighting, etc. I have heard the Eos can get very nasty. I hope to get some more of the aggressive loaches later on and want to know what to expect before I even think about buying some.

Yeah, 3 Eos vrs 6 Berdmorei is pretty even at the moment. I'll follow up with on-going reports.
