Hi I just registered.I have two banded Kuhlis I purchased about two months ago and would like to purchase 3-5 more but I cant seem to find any. I'm starting a 30 gallon grow out tank my 10 is becomming overpopulated with its plants and fish. i found one banded Kuhli loach at John's aquarium. I need about 6 more I am moving them to a bigger tank a 20 long.
well Kuhlis were transferred about a week ago and all three of them seem to be doing well! I lost one ghost shrimp durring the transfer 
he just jumped out of the transfer container and every time I tried to pick him up he'd do the back flip. i finally got him in the 20 long but he didnt make it.So I have 3 Kuhlis 15 Red cherry shrimp and one ghost shrimp.I am still looking for more banded Kuhlis.

The term 'kuhli loach' is often used collectively to refer to a group fish in the Pangio genera (previously the Acanthophthalmus genera) that are much like the actual Kuhli Loach. These have the elongated wormlike body shape, are fairly similar in size and appearance, and are also wiggly little scavengers who make great aquarium cleaners.
I dont understand are you talking about a plural or making a suggestion or both? I have pangio Kuhli meyersi. Yeah I saw the second ghost shrimp! Oh, meyersi, I assumed p. kuhli or semicincta. I've gotten fish twice from http://www.invertzfactory.com/stocklist.htm & they have meyersi. I've only gotten fish mailed from these guys & all was well. Email them, they're easy to communicate with & shipping is only $15.
