Plant light brands

Post by Angelfish12 »

Does anyone know if a LED lamp is better than a Aqualight High Output T5 Dual Lamp Light Fixture - Double - 48 in for a planted 55g tank? I like the LED becuase you wont have to replace it for 5 years and it saves you money. Can you remove the lights from the LED lamp? I can't decide which one is better for my tank! Please help me out!

Thank you, Kelly

I'm interested in LEDs because of the low heat output but I don't know much about which products are available. I think they're all still very expensive.
