New Sticky Above

Post by Martin Thoene » Tue Aug 29, 2006 6:30 pm

Note the new sticky I've added about the big meet of LOL regulars we had on 18th August.

Emma, check it out and let me know if I've made any major gaffs. I forgot some details of fish species and suchlike.

Martin.

That's very nice, Martin. Thanks for the insight for those of us who haven't had a chance to visit - yet. And what a selection! Loach lovers of the world will drool over this.

That place is incredible! Very impressive. I wish I could find a shop like that around here.

I feel rather overwhelmed with Martin's kind words about our shop. Thank you so much! :D

I can let you know names for all those Garra species if you like. The only 'major gaffe' is that it was Helen that drove you home, not me!!!

Oops! Brain fart!

Editing time..... you were the one in the Clown T-shirt, right ? Yes, I'd like to caption the pics correctly.

Do you like the sticker on the car?

Martin.

Thanks Martin for posting those lovely pics of Emma's store. I felt as if I was there and looking at those wonderful loach tanks. :D

Thanks ,Martin, for those AMAZING pics and narrative on what is certainly an AMAZING store. It looks like a good time was had by all. I only wish I could have been there. (Where is Scotty's transporter when you need it?) Emma and Steve definately deserve all the kind words for what they do. I have never seen such variety (particularly loaches) in one place.
And that Marge... :D

By the way, I DID cry

Thanks Shari :)

Yeah...you're right. I suddenly realized too late that I never took any pics of Steve. I should have got him and Emma to pose in front of the Clown tank. While at the store he was busy as anything and we were all in a state of loachoverkillshock, so I completely forgot.

Maybe Emma has a picture of him?

I have been reading this forum on and off for a few months, had to register to post when i saw the pics of that clown loach tank though. It appears i have selected much the same stock for my tank, clown loaches and filamentosa barbs primarily. Have only had the barbs in the tank for a few months, how big are yours and how long have you had them? Seems to be some conflicting reports as to how big the filamentosa barbs get so i am kind of curious what your experience has been.

Thanks for posting the pics, very impressive!
