Post by hegge »

Hello everyone,

would you please help me to identify some loaches?
They come from Korea. Maybe Lefua costata?

Those are two of there guys, at the moment in my quarantine tank:

How did you find these? I have inquired in Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois with over 20 stores. Not Fair! The only thing I have been able to find is some discount filters (which have actually been quite helpful for my big tank) and a bunch of crustaceans. I want a Korean Loach!

dafinitely Rice loach(Lefua costata).
lovely and cute tiny kind. and very active as well~
I think the speces also distributed northern china, and siveria.
with thick line on the bodyside, I think is male.
