Some pictures of my small S. speciosa group. I have them now about one year and they doing very well.
The behavior is similar to S. lineolata, they are also easy to breed. Pictures of the spawning and the jungsters coming soon.

Your S. speciosa seems fine.
It's wonderful for those propagation to be seen.
They have also come to my tank 1 year before, but only 1 is surviving now.

Lovely! Great photos! I have not seen these yet in the US. Is there any concern for crossbreeding sewellias? Can you keep similar species together?

This species is very rare to find in retail. No, the different species do not cross each other.
You can keep similar species together. Larger Balitorids could be very territorial.
If you makes sure they get enough to eat and have enough space to avoid you will not have problems.
