need your help with my sale

Post by distrbd » Fri Dec 09, 2011 1:08 pm

Hi all ,I haven't been around for a while ,Recently things have changed for my wife and I,we will have to retire soon and move to a smaller house in a small town and out of Toronto.
I have to get rid of a lot of stuff before moving and my 100 gallon tank is one of them,it only has 10 loaches in it clowns ,yoyo, stripe.
My question is what would you do if you were in my position? would you part out a 6 foot tank with lights, plants ,gravel, water pumps, 4 canister filters,co2 tanks etc. or would you try to sell the whole thing at a lesser price to a motivated buyer?
I am really not after maximizing the money I will receive selling my set up ,all I want is to get rid of the whole thing as soon as possible in one shot with least amount of inconvenience.
I sincerely appreciate all your comments ,hopefully there are a couple of members who have gone through this experience and would like to give me some guidance .
Please let me know your opinion.
Regards.
Ken.

Oh don't be sad it's not that bad ,we are not doing it due to sickness or anything, thank god for that ,it's just I'm 58 and the wife is 59 years old ,worked hard and finally have decided to so to a quiet surrounding and live life while we are still young (relatively  )
II thank you for your reply and have decided to part it out ,sold the two filters and the fish for $200 already.
I just loved my clowns and hate to see them go.
