Any clue?

Hello all,

At my LFS there was one of these guys that came in with the Gastromyzon scitulus'

Of course I took it home and can't place the species. It is not only different in colour and shape, but also much more active then the others I have.

Some of you guys have a clue?

The picture you posed looks like an Algae Eater haha.

A careful look at the photo (particularly at the pectoral and pelvic fins) shows that this fish definitely resembles a "sucker body" type fish, and is not similar to a chinese algea eater.

Not that I know what species it is...

It's a juvenile pseudogastromyzon fasciatus.
