Where can I purchase Levimasole?

What are the dosing directions?

I would like genreal information like how many days should it be given?

Do you need to do a water change after the treatment?

You can get it here:
http://www.petsupplies4less.com/i_01601 ... .17+gm.php

I use 400-500ml/10gallons. Treat once after decent water change. Wait 24 hours. Treat again after water change. Leave out the lights, take out the carbon if you use it during treatment. Treat again after 7-10 days after water change. Water change 24 hours after last treatment.

Others may do it differently. 8) What are you planning to use it for?

Hello,

I would like to use Levamisole to prevent parasites in my clown loaches.

For example, If I have a 66 gallon tank, How much in tablespoons would I use, or is it in capsules?

At the current time, I am fighting a no win battle with ich. I have been treating at a 1/2 dose for 15 days with Quick Cure (Malachite green and Formaldahyde) and I can't get rid of it. The temperature has been raised to 83 degrees.

What have you used? Any suggestions?

Thanks Jennifer

Could you please give me some info on your clown tank set up? 66gallons...
pH, ammonia? nitrItes, nitrAtes, other inhabitants, plants?

The more I know about the tank the less likely I am to give you bad advice.

Hello,

Once my tank has been cycled I never check pH, ammonia, nitrItes, nitrates. I always bring water samples to my local store and every time my conditions are where they should be. I am new to the hobby (2 years) and always had great luck with cycling my tanks, and only had 1-2 fish casualties. I do 10-15% water changes weekly with filtered water. I have had great luck up until now.

My community tank has 8 clown loaches, 1 angel, 1 gourami, 6 golden rams (that brought the ich into the tank), 3 tiger barbs, 2 ballon mollys, 2 platys, plecostamus, algae eater, 2 flower shrimp, and 2 ghost shrimp. I have live plants, but I do not know their names. Some of them look like house plants (big leaves).

I looked in the tank today and I do not see any ich spots on any of the loaches. Today was the 15th day of treatment 35-40 drops of quick Cure per day ( I have been doing a little bit more than 1/2 dose. My treatment goes every 3 days and then I do a 20 % water change. I have kept my teperature at 83 degrees for the past 3 days. Today has shown the most improvement. Maybe I should continue to keep the tank @ 83 degrees and do one more 3 day 1/ 2 dose treatment as insurance.

thanks Jennifer
