just a bit of fun this, i was looking at my pair of histrionica when i saw the numbers on the flanks.
the male has 320 and the female has 988, has anyone else seen numbers on their fish?.

Those are very distinct markings!
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

That's cool Mick, If ya look close you can see 101 on Left Spot and 11 on No Spot and 000 on Right Spot :wink: :wink: :lol:

so it seems there's quite a few of them about, haha
I keep trying to get a look at my other female histi but she's that reclusive all i get is a head or tail shot of her.

That’s really interesting! I’ve noticed similar markings on my fish too. It’s fascinating how different species can have unique patterns or numbers. I wonder if they have any significance or if it’s just a quirky trait. Have you seen any changes in their behavior related to those numbers? Cheers!
