Has he been showing any interest in any of those lovely gravid-looking females of yours?

Oh yes, Emma. In the evening the females often engage in a late night stroll along the waterfront (front glass of tank) with this male. He certainly knows how to charm the ladies.

Yeah they are Pangio's with a snake like face. A few years ago these would be considered rare but lately they seem to becoming quite popular in the aquarium trade. Keep a look out in the substrate of your lfs, these chaps love to burrow.

Cool fish! Graeme if you want to get rid of that black algae, the first fish on this link does a good job, the (Crossocheilus siamensis)
http://www.thekrib.com/Fish/Algae-Eaters/
120 gallon planted aquaponic tank with 10 clown loachs, first one since 1994, 1 modesta and 3 striadas.

Thankyou :D

No, i don't have a problem with Black algae. The dieing leafs do though. They are easily plucked if needed. I keep them for the Pangio's feeding habits within the plants.
