Could you say a couple of words about the personality of this fish?

The body shape is toward Confuzona rather than Smithi....what is the behavior?

I have had two of these fish for about 4 years. They tend to be very shy, more so than confuzona and smithi. They eat bloodworms and brine shrimp and, to a lesser extent, pellets.

Yes! Very shy. Just like there tank-mates the Homaloptera zollingeri. Grrrr!

Interesting.

I saw a couple last weekend and they were dancing Confuzona-like on the glass while the Smithi's around were keeping still. But of course a crowded store tank is not an indication of anything.

Mine will sometimes do that too. They are shy, but not so much as my lone zollingeri.
