what size did you get? 300w??
your tank is 55g right? either two 150w or a 300w should be good..

i got two 200w for a 75..

That ones displays both tank and room temps and you can program high and low alarm point. Has LED's that blink and an alarm that will chirp for a few seconds every minute that these setpoints are crossed.
