What kind of hillstream loach(es) are the photos of?

Walmart got a new shipment of hillstreams, also are the compatible with the vannies?

You have got to be kidding!!!
Looks like you have Sinogastromyzon wui pic #2
Gastromyzon ctenocephalus pic #3
Beaufortia kwiechowensis pic #4,5 and 6
The guy with the bars, spots and red tail is Gastromyzon ocellatus.
What an interesting mix.
The S. wui and beaufortia are Chinese and the Gastros are from Borneo.
I am waiting until next week when the April Fish of the Month show up. Maybe I'll see some of these guys. I really want some of the P. fangi and the vanmanenia.

Jim, fast as always with an ID.

Martin, I have been assimilated.

EDIT: Are these compatible with my vannies?

Thank you all for the help and advice.

Yes, they are compatible. Just be sure to watch them to make sure they are healthy. I guess I am just a little bit paranoid of Walmart fish.

they all seemed healthy when I got them bellys were visible and they have cleaned the algae I grew outside off 2 rocks. They really like the new setup. vannies are moving tomorrow. If they were incompatible with the vannies, you'd have been receiving a shipment shortly. I would have sent you the vannies.

Stunning fish there Tom!
That S.Wui looks really nice, especially as an avatar ;-) There is something quite special in the way that Wui move, it's so different to the motion I see with the P.Cheni. Very nice find.

I'm going to get the remaining few later today. They are so awesome to watch. What suck is they are rare around here. I want to buy all I can now.

They look nice and healthy.
Isn't it amazing what buying a few hillstreams will do for you. I wouldn't be surprised if you end up setting up another river tank.

They'll be perfectly ok with the Vannies Tom.

I just fed mine my home-made frozen mix and took these pics. They like it....they like it a lot!

As you can see, a big mix of species and various sizes of baby P. cheni mixed in too. Everyone gets on.

Martin.

Wui are a cool fish. Unfortunately, they tend to hide much of the time.
With all these new fish, have you noticed any ammonia spikes in the new tank?
