Me too. I bought mine as "Purple Passion" danios too. Every time that Big Als has them in that's what they're labelled as.

I bought mine under that name also. They are not very common around here, unfortunately.

The latin name at the store was roseus, but after looking around the danio website the appeared more like the other danio, I'm assuming it takes some time for them to color up?

Mine were fairly colorful when I got them, but colored up more after eating plenty of bloodworms, brine shrimp, and Omega One color enhancing flakes.

Wow, I want some of those rosy danios. Too bad my loaches love eating danios... :D
