Emma,

I know I have asked you before, but what kind of camera/lens are you using? You have some incredible picture taking skills.

Thanks Jason. :D I'm using a Nikon Coolpix 8700 and take my macro fish pics in manual exposure mode. I get better results when using the photo tank as I can put brighter lights above it. The in-built Nikon flash is a bit pathetic and I still haven't really got the hang of using my external flash yet! When I got this camera (second hand but in v.v. good condition) the guy gave me a load of converter lenses which fit this model, but I honestly don't know where to start with those. :?

They are stunning fish Emma and excellent photos :D

I really do wish I could afford a decent shoal of these, they would look stunning in the new 7' along with the Clowns tank when it comes but they are a fair way out of my price range

Thanks MD. :D

Chen - I'm sorry, but I'm not willing to discuss our exact prices here. I will let serious UK buyers know via PM, but I don't feel comfortable talking about this sort of thing openly on the forums. Many factors dictate the price of fish available in shops and I don't want to start a debate here. Sorry.

Yes, discussing fish prices is generally frowned upon by most serious forums. It's one reason for having PM's or E-mail.

Martin.

We added 6 Emperor Botia to the clown tank this evening! :D They are so excitable, as are the clowns. 8) All loaches are playing, shoaling, and dancing together, and even the Emperors are shadowing each other already!
