From my limited obeservation, smaller Gastromyzon (G. ctenocephalus / G. scitulus
) have less coloration at their fins than bigger fishes, at caudal fin the smaller fish not just have smaller amount of red/orange color of its caudal, but also have bigger amount of colorless ? of the tip of its caudal fin.
