I thought so too. I'm wondering if I can upload these vids onto LOL? You tube degrades them a lot. The original file is far better. It would be useful I think for people to see a live fish doing its thing. So often they are somewhat static in the shop.

For YouTube use I can probably downgrade the recording resolution because I doubt the viewed quality will change much. I could take quite long video then without (hopefully) excessive download time.

The vids I've done have been 30 frames per second, but I can drop it to 15 fps.

Very cool. 8) I wish there was a way of uploaing these straight into the main community site. My Marge & co feeding vid lost a huge amount of quality via photobucket. :?

I tried another video that I took of my Clown tank. It was over 4 mins long and the site just basically stalled out while loading it. I created a file in the contents of Articles. I was then going to put linked text in the My Clown Loach Tank article.

I guess we need to check with Jeff. Maybe it doesn't accept certain file types? Or there's a size limit. This vid was 175,000KB + It exceeds YouTube's 100Mb limit as well.

Great vid!! The sound of water flow certainly adds to the ambiance.
I also love the way the Vanmanenia keeps swimming past. Reminds me of the people you see walking back and forth behind a newsman in a live, on the scene news report.
