Excellent article Emma Image

The fry I got off you are coming on really well and certainly not shy to put the G. Ocellatus that are 4 times their size in their place :D

Hi,

Good to see this article - well done and full of insights. As "the German Aquarist" who also bred Sewellia, I can confirm any given information. Well done. Breeding Sewellia is still full of mysteries, but there are some reports and there is hope, that perhaps Sewellia is of the first loaches, that will be spawn in tanks regularly.

I have started a thread about Sewellia in a german infoboard (http://www.aquaristikimdetail.de/thread ... adid=13363. Many people try to breed Sewellia, but no one with success.

Here is a picture of my young Sewellias

This little clown is one of 30, and one of the biggest (28mm). That leads to the biggest question - Why do they grow so slow?

Good long thread you have running there Felix. I see our friend Wolfram is involved :D I wish my German was better so i could understand much more of what's being said.
Maybe Emma could confirm the details with you and we could input your name properly into the article? Emma?

Thank you once again for the positive comments. :D

Martin that would be a great idea to add Felix's full name in. 8) So Felix, please can you either let us know here or via PM. Thank you! And lovely picture of the young Sewellia by the way.

FYI, Martin just added a composite fry development picture, which I put together a while ago, into the end of the article. 8)
