btw anybody tried feeding their clown loach garlic?
HI,

... I´ve tried for other fish, but in the clown tank, clowns chewed around on it and and spit it out ... in case you are sure you have parasites, I would not rely on garlic, I think it´s not efficient enough. It did not help my other 2 fish (colisa) who had swollen liver etc. I´ve put garlic directly into the filter chamber as well as into the tank...

It seems to be an appetite stimulater though...

Here on the last page my observations re garlic...

this in no way implies that the drug designed for a different animal is safe with fish.
Yes, the same can be said of levamisole. 8)
There was quite a gap between when I started that last post and when I finished. Didn't see your post before i put mine up. Been a bit busy lately...

Figuring out a dosage could be tricky, percent solutions give me nightmares. I did find a prazi dosage for fish of 2.5mg/Liter of water. (milligrams/ I can relate to).

I remember people trying bird treatments with levamisole & there was something about sugars in it to make it palatable possibly causing problems in tanks. I also wonder what q s ad is.

Shari is very good at this stuff. Good luck, Squid.

Here is your chance to set up a nice retail operation.

Another option: there is a product called UltraCarePX (gel food), it is nearly as good for deworming *if your fish is eating*.

It also hapening to me before.
But dont worry.....after u keep that at least 2 weeks its gonna be a normal if you taking care your loach very well eventough 50% of the dead fish is the skinny loaches.

Maybe the causes is those loach hasnt feed good before and it hasnt have good wealth condition

My advise is you shouldnt not keeping with the old loach before.
Carantine those 5 loaches at least for two weeks to prevent the old loaches is infected by the new loaches (if new loaches are sick)

In my experience 2 weeks its enough time or we can say the critical time is 2 weeks.

Thanks..I wish it can help you and all your loaches in good condition
