thanks people. You have eased my mind alot. I am fairly new to this hobby, and just want to know the best way to keep myself and fishies from harm. I think i'm just a panic merchant, but with the good info that you people have thoughtfully posted, I am able to go about my hobby with ease of mind.
And thank you Nancy, I will try your method of syphoning. Unfortunately I don't know anyone here that keeps any fish of any kind to be able to ask for advice. So thanks to you and this site, I am getting educated. Not just from my Q & A's but from reading other forum topics.
