most people ask me to take fish that size for free just to get rid of them. Specially if they have only one, if you have clowns I guess you would have a group, and find it odd to get rid of a big one, as what will happen when the next and next and next get big til you are left with one til it gets big.....
too many lovely fishies, not enough room for more tanks - fishkeeping nightmare :P

If one could make like a $100 for a decent sized clown I'd be throwing in a few extra small ones at closer to $5 ea knowing that I wouldnt ever get rid of too many so I still had my large group, but I dont see anything really wrong with having a few extra to sell/give away. Even if your tank is too small you could probably just sell them when they get to a certain size and replace them with smaller ones so your kinda just raising them up to a point. Of course that depends on there being a market or atleast someone willing to take them from you.

If there really was a good market to make that kind of money on med/large clowns I'd be throwing some extra ones in my tank.

13"!!! Now that's one big clown. I'd probaby say that one is worth $100. That asking price is nuts. Importing 1 large fish from Bangkok really isn't economical.
