Ah yes! There is the black spot and coloured one after it. Looks like they could well be carbonaria (I like mine with parmesan and black pepper).

BTW, there are so many Schistura species with a black spot followed by a yellow/orange spot at the base of the dorsal fin, so this character is pretty useless at the species level.

Yes I agree; I was mentioning it because I'd said in my earlier thread why I had passed over carbonaria in Serov's book (because in his book it clearly showed the markings whereas in the first lot of Emma's images they were not showing).
