Mad Duff and Diana,

Thanks a lot for the information. It certainly clears up a lot of questions i have in my mind. I realise there's a lot of considerations involved in the whole setup.

I'll be shopping for the powerheads this weekend. Will show you all once my setup is done. :)

Finally got fish into the river tank today Image

I moved some bogwood and plants out of the two river tanks that are getting stripped down.

And this is the almost end result, there are some more plants coming later this week

Firstly without powerheads on

Fantabulous! 8) I bet the hillies are loving it.

My lounge is currently in complete chaos (that is, more than is normal for my lounge) as we are moving the bookcase to squeeze in the new river tank. The manifold pipework was supposed to have been here by now, but we have been assured by Aquamedic it will be here Tues....

What are you planning on doing with the river tanks you've been stripping down? And here's the big question - where is the quartz? I can't see it!

Thankyou :D

I am officially a "Happy Bunny" :D

One of the old river tanks is running as a quarantine tank for a while and the other one is going to be set up for Callum. the quarantine tank is for a batch of Kuhli's that I am picking up later this week, I have been assured that these are Pangio myersi and Golden Kuhli's

Once the new shed is built I will be moving 2x 20 gallon tanks and a 29 gallon tank into there so maybe a couple of small river tanks could be set up.

The Quartz is there Emma:

I knew it would be in there somewhere!

And I hope you do manage to obtain some true Pangio myersi later in the week, they seem so hard to come by these days.

That is one awesome looking river tank. Much better than a painting on the wall. That's a work of art there.
