Got pics of the tank and clowns. I've love to see them. Your clown loach colony sounds awesome . I'm glad I'm not the only one with around 50 clown loaches.

There are not many people I know of that keep quite as large a social group of Clowns as we do. I wouldn't have it any other way, their natural behaviour is so rewarding to watch and they clearly adore the company of so many friends

That is the coolest. That has to be so much fun watching so many clowns. Is there every any time that you don't see clowns?

It's funny. Some of tanks look empty sometimes when I have company over. Then I'll throw some food in the tanks and clowns are coming from out of woodworks in every direction. Then the kids are pointing and yelling, "Look at all those fish!" I can hear the adults thinking, "This is insane!" Then I'll say something like, "in their native waters the clowns will get up to 2 feet long, live for over 40 years, and are known to eat small children". They'll say "no way"! I say, "They travel in groups by the thousands. They each have retractable razor sharp spines under their eyes, which they can use in tandem to slice and dice their prey." The room goes quiet for awhile; all you can hear are the loud clicking noises that the greedy clowns are making while they eat. Then I'll say, "I was just kidding." Then I start thinking to myself, "Well, I hope it's not true."
