Dario & Rostrata

Post by Mad Duff »

I thought I would share a couple of photos of my B Dario and B Rostrata.
They are all living happily together in a 30 gallon at the moment with some cories but will soon be going into a 44 gallon.

There are 3 Darios but the other one was camera shy :) :

And the 2 Rostrata:

Lovely loaches! 8)
It will be interesting to see how the markings change on the 'rostrata' in the foreground. It looks very much like some of the juvenile B. kubotai I have seen.

I'm with Emma. Those are B. kubotai, IME.

good looking fishies :-)

I too have some what appear to be rostrata mixed in with some histronicas. Time will tell what they are!

Just a little update, I have now got the two botias that I thought were Rostrata in my 44 gallon tank and their markings have changed quite alot.

I think B. kubotai is looking more likely.
