Hi Martin,

Very cute fish. Congrats!

I saw one here this week for sale. It was 1 to 1.5". I was inclined to buy it but, I thought of 2 things:
1) Isn´t them cool water (20 to 24°C)?
2) As any other botine species don´t they need to be in group?

1) I would say more 21-26.

2) They are not a shoaling fish with social interactions like Botiine loaches, but they are far more interesting with others of their kind.

My 3) You MUST have adequate water-movement and aeration to keep them successfully.

I love the exotic, relaxing expression of the first one - fantastic - shows the flow and sewellia still sharp, perfect stone to underline the message ... so nice and soft... nice piece of art. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for all the nice comments. You got the point....they weren't meant to be technical, portraiture for ID purposes, just something pleasant to look at. I'm so pleased with these that I may try some more pics like this.

I have the top picture as my Desktop wallpaper now. It works quite well with a strip of icons down the left side.
