I thought these large guys will be 8 inches...but it is larger, with one hitting 10.

Definitely not Botia dario. The stripes and color background make me think otherwise. My guess was Botia histrionica but one person in another forum argued the possibility of Botia robusta (possibly Sinibotia robusta?) due to broken bars although it doesn't look like it at all.Or... Botia Dario
