New Rivertank additions

The rivertank got 7 new residents yesterday, I finally added my group of Acanthocobitis zolternans.

nice fish also. they really look happy in that third pic where they are all together in a group.

Clowns-6 is a group and more is never too many, providing the aquarium is large enough.

They do shoal really nicely, they tend to stay out on the cobbles so there is a level of activity at all times :)

Hopefully they may just spawn in there as well :P

*sniff* It's sooo nice to see my little offspring's looking so happy and healthy!!

Looks like i scooped out a few goodins for you Mark. I'm sure they will breed for you. BTW chaps, these Acanthocobitis zolternans are the baby's from the Acanthocobitis zolternans in the loach index from Mick. I received 20 from Mick ages ago and passed over 7 to Mark the other month. :D

Mark, you do know that these will be egg/fry eaters don't you?

Yeah unfortunately, I am thinking that if babies could survive in Emma's tank with the Schistura's then any eggs/fry should stand a better chance with these. There is also the fact that there must be over 100 cobbles in there and tons of plants as well as a few good peices of bogwood full of holes and cracks etc so any fry that do survive should be good fish.
