Mick, did Simon Wolstencroft of TW magazine ever contact you about this? I did pass your details on to him. Usually, once the article has been published and a couple of months have passed, Simon is quite happy for us to put them up on LOL as long as we credit TW as the original source.

I for one would love to hear/see the full story!

Ok Mick, no problem. Would have been nice to see it 'in print', but it will be great to have a permanent record of it on LOL anyway!

Poor old David Marshall ha ha , i think perhaps Mick is , was a little peeved at Davids suggestion of putting the article on Davids club website , perhaps David thought the acheivment not worthy of the national magazines, in my opinion the article would have been brilliant and worthy of any magazine in the world , i know this sounds like sour grapes , and perhaps it is ? BUT what sort of acheivment would be deemed worthy of a page or two in one of our mags i.e. Practical fish or Tropical World , and at the time i approached Practical Fish Keeper on Micks behalf , but alas never heard anything ! SHAME on you PFK , anyway that said life go's on and Mick keeps on breeding different fish !
i guess its their loss , would'nt it be nice if Mick could have made a couple of bob , but perhaps your not deemed important enough eh Mick ha ha .
