striatas eating out of my hand video

they keep nipping my hand while feeding. but today they all ate out of my hand. got some good video of the shrimp kabob as well. the clowns were a bit chicken but eventually they came out and ate a bit too.

I didn't get video of it but last night the striatas were swimming in between my fingers. And while they were eating they would start nibbling my fingers and I would push them out of the way with my fingers gently and they would play with my fingers. They didn't even swim away. These guys are much braver than the clowns! 8)

I can't believe how fearless they are. Great videos once again.

Great idea with the shrimp kabob. When I feed my clowns whole shrimp, only the biggest clowns seem to get their fill. They take the shrimp and run. The smaller clowns usually get bullied out of the feast.

be patient, it took 3 years before they had striata where i am. i hope they come your way.
