Mark in Vancouver wrote:There are no loaches in that book. Plus they got the 'E' backwards...
Well, the "E" is not the only "weird" thing in the book...
I'm loving it!

Santa brought me a copy of the wonderful Loach book today! That's the only thing I asked for for Christmas, so I am very happy. We are allowed to open one present on Christmas Eve and this was mine.
It is wonderful, beautiful pictures, great information and so easy to read.
Thank you so much for bringing it together. Wow! Wonderful! I love the editors' mini-bios too.
I will be taking it to my local LFS to show off very soon.
Thanks again! Tanja.

I received my book this morning!
I had very high expectations since I have gotten to know some of the authors on this forum and thus knew that it would be good. But the book is far better and more complete than I imagined. The large number of photographs make it fun to just flip through. The written information is well done and easy to read. The organization into well thought out chapters makes it easy to find what you are looking for. Quality permeates this book. Very well done.

Thank you Keith. The authors put a lot of time and heart and work into this little project--Mark and Martin, especially.
It could have been better--we had many amazing photos that would have been an improvement. But overall? I'm glad to hold it in my hands at last.

fantastic job

One more reason to not be a Christmas person: delayed shipping of my copy of the book
Well they shipped it today so hopefully it will arrive on Monday. If not then I'll dislike New Years eve too, because it will be here on Wednesday.
Its a hard knock life.....for me
Have a great weekend everyone!!

I keep waiting for someone to point out that we got something terribly wrong. Meanwhile, I'm really pleased that everyone seems to be enjoying the book, and Janne, I'm sure your copy will arrive for Monday!

Hey... This is cool!
I recieved my copy of the Loach book on Monday (7/1/2008).
I'm glad I can support you guys that run this great site. Thanks for your help building my knowledge in this hobby.
Besides all the important information relating to care and responsibility this book opens my eyes to more than just botia loaches. I hope this happens for many more people and the popularization and caring for loaches is taken a step further forward.
Congrats
