I know panacur doesn`t harm fish, as it has been used quite commonly in aquariums over here before. What I don`t know anything about, is whether it has any effect against "skinny disease". But the product is definetly a de-wormer, at least for cats and dogs

If that product is the only one that is available, can you split your Loaches into two tanks and try it on half the fish? Unfortunately, if they die you won't know whether it is because of the stress or because of the medicine, but at least you are trying something.

EUREKA!!! I have found a vet who can probably help me.
But she needs to know the exact latin name of the parasite that causes skinny disease in order to find a suitable drug that is available over here in Norway. I cant find it anywhere on the internett.

Does anyone know?
