I think it will. After removing the monsters I found what appeared to sand under the pile. So these ones were definetly breaking down.chefkeith wrote: Perhaps just getting them rocks out will help.
Since I've got to get this stuff out of the tank I'm thinking of removing all the gravel and switching to sand.
I used to have tons of java fern in this tank but once my severums got about 3" they made a big salad out of it.
