hi shari,,thanks for your input ,,i shall do the things you have suggested straight away im hoping ,my daughter can bring her camera tomorrow ,i,ll get the pictures up asap ,unfortunatly ,i only have one tank,,so quarantining is not possible he seems to be healing slowly ,but the edges of the damage seem to be getting very (fluffy) for want of a better description but the damage is retreating ,there are no dead fish in tank and no signs of any infections on any of the other fishi have alread started a gradual part water change but didnt realise ,,the ammonia ,and nitrate tests had to be zero ,,the test kit i have is obviously not up to the job ,,i shall invest in a better kit ,asap the old one tells me ,only by a colour chart thanks ,,mick

how long has the tank been set up, mick?

tank has been set up over two years now ,i have some good pictures now ,,ill get them up ,as soon as my daughter gets home from ,school ,im a bit of a technophobe ,so im not able to do it myself

Watch out mick, I've found that my fish hobby has led to all kinds of tech knowledge growth. 8)
